Two dead following murder-suicide

CLEARFIELD - Two people were found dead following a domestic dispute in Bradford Township Friday evening.

Police said they responded around 7 p.m. to a residence on Hillbilly Lane and found both Donald Peters, 46, of Mineral Springs and Tammy Sipe, 43, of Hyde, dead from stab wounds.

According to a witness, police said Peters had a large knife and stabbed Sipe in the front yard of the home before the dispute moved to inside the home.

When police arrived, they found Sipe inside the front door with multiple stab wounds and Peters in another room with one self-inflicted stab wound.

Police said both Peters and Sipe died from injuries, and declared the incident a murder-suicide.
