After weeks of blind auditions, battles, knockouts, and live shows, The Voice finale is here. But which coach and contestant will be the champions this year? The Voice winner predictions for Season 24 point to one frontrunner among the final five contestants.
The Voice is NBC’s reality TV singing competition based on The Voice of Holland. The series features a panel of four ceelbrity coaches who critique performances and mentor their teams of artists through the season until only one contestant remains. That contestant — and their coach — are declared the winner.
The Voice premiered in 2011 with original coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. Since then, more than a dozen coaches have sat in the series’ iconic red swivel chairs including Shakira, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson.
The Voice Season 24 premiered in September 2023 with returning coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan, and new coach Reba McEntire. Week by week, contestants from all four Voice teams were sent home until only five contestants remained: Huntley and Mara Justine (from Team Niall); Jacquie Roar and Ruby Leigh (from Team Reba); and Lila Forde (from Team John.) So who will win The Voice Season 24 and take home the title next? Read on for The Voice winner predictions for Season 24 and the contestant and coach most likely to win the trophy this year.
The Voice winner predictions for Season 24
Who will win The Voice Season 24? According to predictions site Gold Derby, Huntley, who is on Niall Horan’s team, is the frontrunner to win The Voice Season 24 with 39/50 odds. Ruby Leigh, who is on Reba McEntire’s team, is second with 31/10 odds. Mara Justine, who is also on Team Niall, is third with 9/1 odds. Coach Gwen Stefani also declared Huntley as the frontrunner to win The Voice Season 24 during his battle against contestant Brailey Lenderman. “I think y’all did a wonderful job. It kind of made me a little envious that I didn’t get to be up there singing with you,” Reba told Brailey Lenderman before referring to Huntley as a “force of nature on stage.”
“Brailey, you were powerful,” John continued. “The problem is, you were against Huntley. The magnetism and the energy that you convey is just very attractive and it connects people to you… Dude, you’re great.”
Gwen added, “I was just not expecting that!” Huntley, I’m worried that you might win this show… Your precision and perfection of how you did, it’s hard to believe.”
All five finalists were four-chair turns during The Voice Season 24 blind auditions. Huntley, a 33-year-old from Fredericksburg, Virginia, performed “She Talks to Angels” for his blind audition and joined Team Niall. Ruby, a 16-year-old from Foley, Missouri, performed “I Wanna Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” and joined Team Reba. Mara, a 21-year-old from Galloway, New Jersey, performed “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and joined Team John. Niall stole her during the knockouts. Lila, a 24-year-old from Seattle, Washington, performed “Can’t Find My Way Home” and joined Team John. And Jacqui, a 37-year-old from North Plains, Oregon, performed, “Here For the Party” and joined Team Gwen. Reba stole her during the battle round.
Who are The Voice coaches for Season 25?
The Voice coaches for Season 25 will be John Legend, Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper, and Reba McEntire. The next season will mark the exits of coaches Niall Horan, who joined in Season 23, and Gwen Stefani, who joined in Season 7.
Dan + Shay, a country music duo best known for songs like “Tequila” and “10,000 Hours,” are the first group to be a coach on The Voice. “We’ve gotten to shoot a little bit of it. It’s two chairs, but one button, and they’re actually connected. It’s kind of one big platform. It’s definitely a spectacle,” Dan told Variety in September2023.” We’ve worked with them a lot. You know, we were mentors for Blake [Shelton] — um, for Blake’s team. We weren’t really mentors for Blake. I don’t know if he’s reachable now; he’s beyond help. I’m kidding. He’s the greatest and he’s honestly been a mentor to us from the very beginning stages of our career. We got to do that show a few times, and I guess that was kind of our tryout back then.”
Dan also went on to credit Blake and Reba for popularizing The Voice among country music audiences. “At the core of it, it’s a lot of fun to be able to represent country music in that space, and Blake had always done that so well. We felt like we were well equipped to really help people on that show, helping new artists along, and making them better — better people and better artists. We’ve made a lot of mistakes in our life, and have a lot of wisdom to share through those mistakes that we’re gonna be able to share with those artists. and everybody on that team is just so incredible. Reba’s an absolute legend and it’s awesome that they have two country acts on there. It’ll be next year before we actually get to get to see that all come together and get to do all the live stuff.”
