Serena Williams & Daughter Olympia Are Full of Joy in New Beach Photos

It’s the middle of January, but we are already counting down the days until summer. Sunshine, swimming, vacation — it’s so close we can almost taste it! Serena Williams isn’t waiting until June to enjoy warmer weather, though. She traded snow and ice for sand and turquoise waters, and her new photos with daughter Olympia, 6, are making us so jealous!

She is literally jumping for joy in the first picture! Williams is dressed in a black one-piece swimsuit and black sunglasses as she leaps into the air with arms spread wide. Olympia is wearing a pink floral swimsuit, and she is jumping up in an identical pose as her mom, complete with arms stretched wide and her mouth open in what looks like a fierce roar. The beautiful ocean and blue sky stretches out behind them as they jump over the sand, and it looks like paradise.

Slide 2 shows a cute clip of the duo trying to jump at the same time, with Williams groaning when they miss. That must have been a hard shot to get! The last photo shows Williams standing on the sand smiling as Olympia jumps up with both arms in the air. These are definitely frame-worthy!

Williams shares Olympia and daughter Adira, 5 months, with husband Alexis Ohanian. Over New Year’s, they went on a family vacation to the Bahamas, which included one epic pirate dress-up day.

“A naughty pirate stole a bunch of gifts for Jr and she had to piece together a map, find the buried treasure on a deserted island in the Caribbean, and dig it up,” the Reddit co-founder captioned one adorable photo of him and Olympia digging up treasure in their pirate gear. “I think we all know who did most of the digging, though.”

Williams also shared a series of photos from the trip, where she was dressed in a red-and-black striped skirt and black shirt to look like a pirate, which matched Olympia’s and Ohanian’s red-and-black striped pants. “Yea we doing the unexpected for 2024 … keep em guessing,” she captioned the photos.

It’s too cold, rainy, and decidedly non-pirate-y here in the States, so we’ll have to live vicariously through Williams and Ohanian. What a fun family!
