Scarsdale's Frank Sinatra III, 24
SCARSDALE, N.Y. Frank J. Franky Sinatra III of Scarsdale died at home April 2 at the age of 24.
Sinatra was born Feb. 9, 1988, to Laura and Frank Sinatra Jr., operators of Sinatra Funeral Homes. He attended Annunciation School, Stepinac High School and Westchester Community College. His passion for baseball, at which he excelled in all levels, was only exceeded by his love for his family and friends. Sinatra was a generous and caring young man with an infectious smile in a big bear of a frame.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Laura, his brother, Robert L. Sinatra, his grandmother Mary Fernandes, his aunts, uncles and cousins. Sinatra was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert Fernandes and Dolly and Frank Sinatra Sr.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers. Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Annunciation, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
