Richard 'Rich' Forte, 60, Of Rutherford

He was born in Trenton to the late Gloria and Dominick Forte. He was raised in Jersey City and resided in Rutherford for 32 years. He was employed as a sales consultant for Break Thru Beverages in West Caldwell for 25 years. He loved having people to his home, listening to Motown, watching football and basketball and also talking politics . He was an active member in alumni activities at St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City

He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (nee Bushnauskas); children, Vito and Gina and her husband Dwayne; and brother, Dominick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calhoun Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
