Joshua Cremosnik was sentenced after previously pleading guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of receiving child pornography, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

From April to August 2021, Cremosnik received videos of child sexual abuse via a publicly available online peer-to-peer file-sharing program, Sellinger said.

After searching his residence, law enforcement recovered numerous videos and images of child sexual abuse on Cremosnik’s laptop and electronic storage media, Sellinger said.

Cremosnik admitted to using the P2P network to request and receive child pornography and stored those materials on his laptop and electronic storage media, Sellinger said.

He was also sentenced to five years of supervised release and fined $208,694, Sellinger said.
