Princess Eugenie's engagement ring from Jack Brooksbank has the most rare jewel
Far from classic diamond rings, the royal ladies are known for having unique taste when it comes to engagement rings.
While Princess Kate has a sparkling blue sapphire and Sarah Ferguson had a gleaming ruby, Princess Eugenie's engagement ring from Jack Brooksbank is perhaps the most showstopping of all.
The couple celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary today, and in honour of their special day, HELLO! revisits the sensational ring Jack proposed with.
What stone is Princess Eugenie's engagement ring?
The striking design, chosen by Jack, contains a padparadscha sapphire, a very rare jewel which has a beautiful pinkish-orange glow. The main stone is surrounded by diamonds in a flower shape, which is more formally known as a cluster-shaped ring.

Speaking about Eugenie's precious piece of jewellery, which contains the rarest of all sapphires which usually come from Sri Lanka, the Natural Sapphire Company said: "Nothing brings to mind blooming flowers like padparadscha sapphires. Named after the colour of a lotus blossom, the pinkish orange glow of these stones is hypnotising."
While the colour of Eugenie's ring is unlike that of any other royal engagement rings, the design is somewhat similar to the engagement ring her father, Prince Andrew, proposed to Sarah Ferguson with.
The Duchess of York's ring includes a Burmese ruby stone surrounded by diamonds, and from afar, could be mistaken for her daughter's ring.
On the other hand, Princess Beatrice's ring is unique from that of her sister and mother. The breathtaking diamond ring was hand-cast in platinum and boasts a central 2.5 carat stone with two baguettes either side, ¾ of a carat each. "The diamonds are ethically sourced and of the highest colour and clarity," the ring's designer, Shaun Leane revealed.
A lot of thought went into Bea's ring, with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi designing it himself.
While Beatrice's ring is unlike her mother and sister's, it does bear a resemblance to Meghan Markle's engagement ring, who is married to her cousin, Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex's ring also follows a trilogy design. The central diamond was also sourced from Botswana, like Beatrice's, while it is flanked on either side by two smaller jewels from Princess Diana's personal collection.

Princess Kate's ring was also from Diana's collection, though the only alteration they made to the original ring was to resize it.
