Police identify suspects involved in Oakhurst Homes armed robbery
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown police have identified the two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Oakhurst homes.
Police issued warrants for 21-year-old Radhudeen Dawson and 21-year-old Marsheed Hill, both of Philadelphia, on various robbery, assault and endangering charges.
According to a criminal complaint, the victim told police he contacted a person known as "MG-DOE" on Facebook to purchase marijuana. The victim said he was instructed to meet MG-DOE Monday night near building 43 at Oakhurst, the complaint said.
The complaint said the victim was walking with Dawson and Hill at Oakhurst when Dawson pushed him against an apartment building and pulled out a gun. Hill and Dawson started going through the victim's pockets and took $40 in cash, an iPhone 8 and his wallet before fleeing the scene, according to the complaint.
The victim told police he didn't know the names of the people who robbed him, but police were able to identify Dawson, who was later identified by the victim, the complaint said.
Police took Dawson into custody days later after officers were called to the scene of a domestic dispute allegedly involving Dawson.
Hill has not been arrested.
Both face charges of robbery, receiving stolen property, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
