New World Peppercorn, Cinnamon, Garlic, Mint, Sage, Ginger, Basil Herb Locations
New World has 12 herbs – which includes peppercorn, cinnamon, garlic, mint, sage, and basil – that you will be able to use to cook delicious food. However, you first need to be able to find and collect them. Unlike other resources such as Rivercress Stems, Petalcaps, and Saltpeter, all 12 herbs are gathered from a single resource called the Herbs plant. This plant looks like a lavender plant, and it will give you one of these 12 herbs. But, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t rules that can help you predict where to find them individually. Certain areas have higher chances to spawn some herbs than others. Where to Find Peppercorn in New World
The best place to find Peppercorn, Oregano, and Paprika is around Monarch’s Bluff. Look for these herbs around the settlement, to the south, and to the island which is directly west from Monarch’s Bluff. We have marked their rough locations in the screenshot below.

Cinnamon, Saffron, and Nutmeg most commonly spawn in the First Light area. Look for Herbs plants directly north and northeast from the settlement. You can use the areas we’ve marked in the screenshot below to guide you.
Where to Find Garlic, Sage, Basil in New World
Garlic, Sage, and Basil spawn in the Everfall area. You can find a lot of Herbs plants a short distance south from the settlement, as well as to the northeast and northwest of it. The map below should give you an idea of where to look.
Where to Find Mint & Ginger in New World
To find Mint, Ginger, and Thyme, look around the Windsward area. There is a large crop of Herbs to the southeast and southwest of the settlement. Our map will provide you with a general direction of the area where they grow.
