UPDATE:

Officials with the Pennsylvania Turnpike and PennDOT say that the roadway has reopened following a tractor-trailer rollover crash Monday morning between the Bedford and Somerset exits.

911 dispatchers say crews were called to the scene of the crash, just after 9 a.m., near the 129 eastbound mile marker.

Officials say the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured and the truck was hauling paper, which had spilled onto the roadway.

A Turnpike spokesperson said that such a large stretch of the roadway was closed in order to detour the commercial vehicle traffic safely.

The extent of the driver's injuries are unknown at this time.

Dispatchers also confirmed that a second individual was injured during the cleanup process and was flown to a nearby hospital.
