Mass Concerts To Book Webster Theatre
HARTFORD, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Webster Theater has selected promoter Mass Concerts to take over booking at the 1250-capacity theater as well as the 250-capacity Webster Underground.
Centrally located in Hartford, The Webster has been one of the primary club-sized venues in the region, serving as a stop for numerous touring acts including 311, Disturbed, Ani DeFranco, Third Eye Blind, O.A.R. and Fall Out Boy. Originally opened as an art-deco theater in 1937 by the grandfather of current owner Justine Roberts, the club features top-end light and sound along with a flexible setup that allows for acts which draw from 200-1250 fans to play the room.
Since opening doors in 1994, Mass Concerts has promoted more than 2,500 concerts throughout New England. Events promoted by Mass Concerts have included Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Metallica, Fall Out Boy, Prince, The Killers and many more. Mass Concerts also oversees the 2,160 capacity Palladiumn in nearby Worcester Mass. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
