How to get the Tommy's Matchbook Exotic in Destiny 2

The Season of the Worthy in Destiny 2 is introducing a new Exotic weapon, Tommy’s Matchbook. It looks a lot like a Tommy Gun, so it would appear to an Assault Rifle. Little is known about it currently, such as the perks and stats, but we do know how to get it. Even though the weapon won’t be available to get in the game until next week, or Mar. 10, we reckon plenty of people out there will already be curious about how to get their hands on this one. 

In a new post detailing the Season of the Worthy, Bungie gave us our first look at the weapon, and also the following description, “Tommy the Ghost presents us with a token of goodwill. Sure, it might just be a match, but all a Guardian needs to light up the darkness is a spark”.

The good news is that getting the weapon will not be very difficult. For people who purchase the Season Pass, the weapon will automatically unlock for you when the new season goes live on Mar. 10. For people who play on the free tier, you will unlock the weapon when you hit Rank 35.

All you need to do to get your hands on the weapon is either purchase the Season Pass to get it on the first day of the new season, or play the game, ranking your Season Pass up, and you will then get it at Rank 35.
