After the first action thriller came out in 2019, fans are left wondering if there will be Hobbs & Shaw 2. Fans are eagerly awaiting the Hobbs & Shaw sequel. Although some reports suggested that Hobbs and Shaw 2 is already under work, no concrete evidence is there to confirm whether the movie is in development.

The Rock’s dialogue was a lot better. Great cameo by Kevin Hart. Statham is always solid. Enjoyed his banter with The Rock. Not as much car action.

Will there be a Hobbs & Shaw 2?

While some reports and rumors suggest that Hobbs & Shaw 2 is under work, the makers have confirmed that we won’t be getting a sequel to the popular action thriller.

The producer of the movie, Kelly McCormick, has confirmed in an interview with ComicBook.com that she would love to produce the sequel of Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, but the makers haven’t discussed or planned for it.

Although they would love to make the sequel, the makers are busy with some other projects. But the makers haven’t canceled the plan to produce Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw 2 in the future.

“I do feel like there were a lot of seeds planted to try to create a spinoff in a way that included a Kevin Hart and a Ryan Reynolds and sort of all that kind of stuff. And that was intentional but not necessarily because we had plans in mind just because it would be fun to have different players for them to play with if anybody or we wanted to go for it in a different way. So, you know, I don’t know, I mean Dwayne’s a really busy guy and you know, he would be the one to motivate all of that. So, you know, we’re ready if he wants to and until then he’s just dominating so all power to him.”

Even though Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are there in Fast X movie, the plot of Fast X is nowhere connected to Hobbs & Shaw.
