Frank Pappalardo, 81, Of Yonkers, Worked In Family Businesses
Pappalardo was born April 16, 1932, in Yonkers, to Salvatore and Carolina (Arduino) Pappalardo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at his family owned businesses, Pappy's Pizza and Square Taxi both in Yonkers and also worked as a groundskeeper at the Sprain Lake Golf Course.
Pappalardo is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Salvatore (Eva) Pappalardo, Debra (Joe Barone) Farlese, Francis (Denise Cafarelli) Pappalardo, Donna (Perry) Ortiz; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery.
