The store posted various signs and had several items on sale, as shoppers scoured the aisles for deals. 

The frozen food cases were nearly empty. 

"I came here just to look around," said Monica Velez. "I got a few things like water and necessities." 

"All these people could lose their jobs, right around the holidays," said Leonard Green, another customer. "I don't know if they'll have anything."
