In honor of Pokémon Detective Pikachu making its way into theaters this week, Warner Bros. brought us to Tokyo to get an early look at director Rob Letterman's film and chat with stars Ryan Reynolds, JusticeSmith, and Kathryn Newton. All well and good, but I had an ulterior motive: To find the best potential Pokémon trainer of the bunch, the very best, like no one ever was.

To that end, I sprung a Pokémon Pop Quiz on the cast and crew of Detective Pikachu to see if they knew their stuff and were up to snuff on all things Pokémon.
